Ambient and experimental music performed live in Camden

  • from £12.50 | The Jazz Cafe 5 Parkway London, England, NW1 7PG United Kingdom (map)

the ttn team recommends…

Two modern pioneers of ambient and experimental sounds - Ana Roxanne and Meitei - perform live in Camden’s Jazz Cafe.

Regarded as one of the finest ambient musicians by Pitchfork and the Guardian, Ana synthesizes influences spanning both the secular (80s and 90s R&B divas) and the spiritual (the Catholic choral traditions of her youth) into a unique sonic language.

Meitei’s music tells the story of Japan’s “lost mood” - using 808s and other modern technical processes, his music is indebted to East Asian instrumentation and Japanese history.
