The London homes of baroque composer George Frederic Handel and rock legend Jimi Hendrix will become an immersive walk-through performance this Friday, as the Handel & Hendrix in London museum hosts its last Friday Late event for 18 months.
You'll be able to visit areas of Jimi’s flat that are usually closed off to the public, listen to Hendrix classics on Hendrix’s replica record player in the very bedroom that he jammed, partied and lived in, and join the museum’s resident guitarist as he runs a live blues jamming session.
Next door in number 25 Brook Street, where Handel lived and composed the Messiah, musicians from Handel House Talent perform Baroque music in the composer’s Music Room.
