The National Gallery stays open until 9pm on Fridays, so you can enjoy their collection and exhibitions while they're open late, as well as an exciting programme of events.

This week features American violist Stephen Upshaw, who will perform Baroque pieces by J S Bach and contemporary reflections by composers John Casken and Alex Groves.

Pop-up performances last around 15 minutes and are repeated at 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm in Room 41. This event is available on a first come, first served basis. Places are limited to 80 participants at one time.

Although you do not need to book this event, you will need to book your free Gallery entry ticket to gain admission to the National Gallery.
