nonclassical Barbican takeover: DJ sets and live performances on pop-up stages

Ground-breaking promoter and record label nonclassical are taking over the Barbican this Sunday, with an afternoon of free performances on pop-up stages around the venue.

The FreeStage opens at 3pm, with Chihiro Ono performing her own music written for tape recording and solo violin. Langham Research Centre perform from 3.30pm, before the Ligeti Quartet play music by Pauline Oliveros, Christian Mason, and Anna Meredith at 5pm.

The ClubStage hosts DJ sets from Gabriel Prokofiev and Blue Maignien from 6-7.30pm. All performances are free, with no ticket required - just drop in and out whenever suits you.
