The world-renowned musicians of NWLive Arts bring influences from the West African Griot tradition, Indian Punjabi music, Western European classical music and folk music from Europe and the Middle East to Kings Place.

Write to Life’s writers, who met as clients of Freedom from Torture’s unique writing and performance group, interperse poems within the programme.

Musicians include star of noisenight one and the summer party Laura van der Heijden alongside noisenight nine’s djembe, kamelen n’goni, and calabash maestro Sidiki Dembele. They’ll be joined by Alice Zawadzki on voice/violin and Kuljit Bhamra MBE on tabla.
