Spirituals, song, and solo piano feature in closing day of London festival

f r a g m e n t s festival comes to an end with a series of performances around the City of London, featuring poems read by Imogen Stubbs, spirituals and Wagner lieder from Ruby Philogene and Maya Irgalina, solo piano with David Palmer, Claire Booth singing Poulenc, the AMIES Freedom Choir, a chamber orchestra performing music by Pärt, Brittenm and Maconchy, and a recital from Rekesh Chauhan (piano) and Surdashan Chana (tabla).

Performances take place from 4.30pm-7.30pm across various venues, which you can drop in and out of - the festival have lined up a number of suggested routes you can take. All performances are part of f r a g m e n t s, a bespoke one-off experiential festival taking place in 22 of the City of London’s churches 7-12 April 2022.
