Two years on from their critically acclaimed debut season, Spotlight Chamber Concerts are back at recently reopened St John’s Waterloo.

The season features five world-class concerts, offering an intense, immersive experience of live music, with dramatic lighting centred only on the performers and the audience in the dark and in the round.

In this concert, clarinettist and artistic director Anthony Friend joins violinist Agata Daraskaite, cellist Peteris Sokolovskis, and pianist James Cheung for Messiaen’s monumental Quartet for the End of Time, composed in a Nazi PoW camp in 1941.
