The first night of f r a g m e n t s festival kicks off with a series of performances around the City of London, featuring poems read by Tamsin Grieg, Messiaen’s Quartet for the end of Time, sea songs and shanties led by Sam Sweeney on fiddle, Erland Cooper with Shards Choir, and Incognito Gospel Choir.

Performances take place from 7-10pm across various venues, which you can drop in and out of - the festival have lined up a number of suggested routes you can take. All performances are part of f r a g m e n t s, a bespoke one-off experiential festival taking place in 22 of the City of London’s churches 7-12 April 2022.
