The Outcry Ensemble return to St John’s Smith Square after their acclaimed performance of Brahms’ requiem and the Beethoven 251 Festival, which presented all nine of Beethoven’s Symphonies.
This time round, they’re hosting the Brahms Symphony Festival - a celebration of music by Brahms across four concerts at St John’s 24 Feb-3 March.
Each concert features a pre-concert talk given by The Outcry Ensemble’s conductor, James Henshaw, where the music is explained and explored.
Oscar Perks joins them for the second concert in the series, where they’ll perform Brahms’ Violin Concerto and Symphony No. 2.
