The Spitalfields Music Festival is back for 2021, bringing artists, audiences and communities together so that everyone can find, explore and share extraordinary music in one of the most vibrant areas of London.

This event at Dalston’s Cafe OTO features the world premiere of Ongemang: a collection of interpretive melodies connected by improvising singers, composed by Kit Downes and Tom Challenger.

The performance will feature Irish vocalist, improviser and composer Lauren Kinsella, who specialises in sean-nós - the highly intricate traditional Irish vocal style.
