We were pretty excited when English National Opera (ENO) announced that, post-lockdown number one, they were going to reopen their London Coliseum home with two performances of Mozart’s Requiem.

We were even more excited when they said they’d be offering free tickets to under 21s. Unfortunately, another lockdown got in the way of that one.

However, we’re delighted to have been told that BBC Two will broadcast a performance on Saturday 14 November at 19.00, presented by Danielle de Niese.

Originally intended to be performed for live audiences on 6 & 7 November, Requiem has instead been performed and recorded specially for a lockdown television audience at the London Coliseum.
