What's on this week: classical music in London

Spotlight Chamber Concerts

We’re feeling more positive than ever at through the noise HQ: the sun has come out in time for the bank holiday and half-term, and we’re getting pretty excited about what the summer holds for live music.

The first two events in our noisenights series, taking place this July and August, are almost fully crowdfunded. We’ve been blown away with the response from the community and the eagerness for classical music audiences to try something new.

There’s so much more to come as the year goes on, and as the restrictions (hopefully) fully alleviate. For now, here are our recommendations for the best things to do this week:

Wednesday 2 - Friday 4 June, 7pm

Francesca Dego and Francesca Leonardi perform violin sonatas by Mozart and Busoni in Clerkenwell’s beautiful Fidelio Cafe

Friday 4 June, 9pm

After a critically acclaimed performance at the first Spotlight Chamber Concerts series last year, Solem Quartet are back with an expanded ensemble

a bit further ahead…

Friday 9 July, 6.30pm + 8.30pm

Laura van der Heijden and Max Baillie play Kodály’s Duo and a selection of folk music in Hoxton as part of through the noise’s noisenights series

Saturday 28 August, 6pm + 8pm

Sarah Daramy-Williams and Natalia Senior-Brown feature in the second instalment of our noisenights series at Hoxton Underbelly
