Young Brazilian classical guitarist from São Paulo Plínio Fernandes performs at Bold Tendencies for the first time.
The guitar is central to the Brazilian folk tradition and Plínio takes inspiration from a long line of great artists - Antônio Carlos Jobim, Milton Nascimento, Jacob do Bandolim, Violeta Parra, Edu Lobo, Cartola and Laurindo Almeida, some of whose music he will perform in this concert.
Recently signed to Decca Records, his debut album "Saudade" will be released in 2022 and this is one of his first ever solo concerts.
