Paraorchestra search for new talent

Paraorchestra - the world’s first fully integrated professional orchestra of disabled and non-disabled musicians - are looking for new professional-level musicians who identify as D/deaf or disabled.

They’re seeking musicians, vocalists, composers and music makers in any genre who are excited by creating new and accessible musical experiences.

Applicants need not have any professional or classical training, but they must be able to play (sing, compose, or perform) to a professional level.

Successful candidates will join the orchestra’s pool of musicians which they draw on for almost all projects, which have varied from headlining main stages at major music festivals like Glastonbury and WOMAD to touring the globe.

Paraorchestra Associate Music Director, Lloyd Coleman talks about the callout in this blog post.

Watch the orchestra’s promotional video below for further info, and find out more about the application process here.
