What's on this week: classical music in London

This week marks one month until noisenight three gets underway at The Jago, Dalston.

We’re so close to hitting the funding target and confirming the event to all of our backers - if you haven’t yet, you can get involved here.

For now, here are our recommendations for live classical music this week:

Tuesday 2 November, 7.30pm

The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment perform in iconic Shadwell pub The George Tavern, as part of their Night Shift series

Wednesday 3 November, 7.30pm

Artisti Con Brio are back at Candid Arts Trust’s converted Victorian warehouse in Islington for their Chamber Music Wednesdays series

Wednesday 3 November, 7.30pm

The Diphonon Duo perform music by Astor Piazzolla, Villa-Lobos, Rafael Marino-Arcano, and Bernardo Simões at the 1901 Arts Club

Genre-defying virtuoso cellist Abel Selaocoe embarks on an exploration of baroque and contemporary African music in The Jago, Dalston

Sheku Kanneh-Mason and Harry Baker explore song and improvisation through folk melodies, jazz standards, and pieces by Bach and Boulanger
