What's on this week: classical music in London

This week marks one month until our next noisenight, featuring ground-breaking performer-composers Héloïse Werner and Colin Alexander performing their own music, alongside a whole load of world premières.

In the meantime, there are plenty of great events taking place over the next few days, including star of the sold-out noisenight four Sheku Kanneh-Mason returning to London for a performance in Croydon.

Artisti con Brio perform excerpts from ballets as part of the Candlelight Concerts series with the Sophie Adams Ballet Company

Friday 11 February, 1pm

Artists from The Royal Opera, Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, and The Royal Ballet perform in the Royal Opera House foyer

Sunday 13 February, 7.30pm

Sheku Kanneh-Mason returns to Fairfield Halls with the London Mozart Players, who present an all-Russian programme of music


Wednesday 23 February, 6.30pm

The London Symphony Orchestra perform Poulenc’s La voix humaine with Barbara Hannigan in an informal early-evening concert


Wednesday 9 March 2022, 6pm + 8pm

Award-winning performers and composers Héloïse Werner and Colin Alexander present a variety of new music at OSO Arts

Saturday 12 March 2022, 6pm + 8pm

Her Ensemble follow up from their debut concert at Battersea Arts Centre, performing their favourite pieces by women composers
