At the centre of every noisenight is a one-hour classical set. We platform international soloists and ensembles while also giving opportunities to outstanding new artists. All noisenights take place in gig venues where you get to experience classical music up close.
Live music needs your backing more than ever. Backing a noisenight means getting tickets to hear the world's best performers in grassroots venues and being part of a community working for a positive future for live music. Putting it simply, you giving your backing will make this gig happen and secure you a ticket.
After a noisenight reaches its funding target, we'll e-mail all backers to confirm it and a small amount of extra tickets will be made available. Tickets are released in four stages, which increase in price the closer to the event they're purchased. Book early to get the best price.
Please note that due to the venue's license, this noisenight is strictly 16+ (all under 18s must be accompanied by an adult).

Famously the birthplace of Arctic Monkeys, Yellow Arch Studios started life as an Edwardian Nuts & Bolts factory for the bridge & shipping industry at the turn of the century.
After being rediscovered in 1996 in disarray and ruin, the venue was lovingly refurbished and opened its doors as Yellow Arch Studios in 1997.

After their sold-out debut collaboration at the noisenights summer residency last year, Plínio and Braimah join forces for a set of rare guitar and violin duets written by musicians from Serbia, Italy, Argentina, Spain, and beyond.
Celebrating Plínio's South American heritage, the programme features movements from Astor Piazzolla's Histoire du Tango and compositions by guitar virtuoso Sergio Assad, amongst others.

From São Paulo, Brazil, classical guitarist Plínio Fernandes takes his inspiration from a long line of greats - Antônio Carlos Jobim, Milton Nascimento, Jacob do Bandolim, Violeta Parra, Edu Lobo, Cartola and Laurindo Almeida - the guitar being so central to the Brazilian folk tradition.

Adding to that cannon, his six years of studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London have opened up a whole world of Western Classical Music to his repertoire.
Recently signed to Decca Records, New York, his debut album will feature duets with Braimah Kanneh-Mason and legendary Brazilian artist María Rita. Fernandes will also reunite with long time collaborator Sheku Kanneh-Mason after Fernandes appeared on Sheku’s acclaimed 2020 album Elgar for their duet of ‘Scarborough Fair’ which has since featured on the BBC’s Imagine documentary ‘This House is a full of Music’. With a flare of youthful excitement, enchanting lyricism and dancing rhythm, Plínio’s debut album is an entrancing collection of works for solo guitar weaving together all his musical loves and telling his complex and captivating international story in sound. “I chose songs that I grew up listening to,” Fernandes explains, “and in many cases I fell in love with the guitar through them.”
Born into a family of musicians, Fernandes received his first guitar lessons from his father. At the age of 12, after winning national youth guitar competitions, he played as a guest soloist with the Campo Grande Symphony Orchestra and took private lessons in São Paulo from the renowned teacher Henrique Pinto and later, at 16, from Pinto’s student and protégé, Fabio Zanon. Fernandes then received a full scholarship to attend the International Campos do Jordão Winter Festival from 2011-2014. During that period, he gave recitals and performed in chamber concerts in some 35 cities throughout Brazil and Chile. Encouraged by his family and teachers, he made the move to London to pursue a career as a concert musician. His teachers at the Royal Academy of Music (2014-2020) included Zanon, Prof. Michael Lewin, Steve Goss, and David Russell, under a full scholarship funded by the Brazilian Ministry of Education. Fernandes is also committed to music education and was recently invited to join the Music Masters charity as an ambassador.

Braimah Kanneh-Mason is a dynamic and versatile young violinist. He has performed throughout the UK, Europe, USA and the Caribbean. An avid chamber musician, Braimah is a member of the Kanneh-Mason Piano Trio, Cassadó Ensemble and Kaleidoscope Collective.

He has performed at venues and festivals such as the BBC Proms, Wigmore Hall, Barbican Hall, Kings Place, Highgate International Chamber Music Festival, Leicester International Chamber Music Festival and collaborated with artists such as Nicola Benedetti, Tom Poster and Priya Mitchell. Braimah is a passionate advocate for equal opportunity and diversity in music education and is a Junior Ambassador for Music in Secondary Schools Trust (MiSST). He has been a mentor at Sistema England, Junior Music Works and a violin tutor for consecutive years at the Antigua Music Camp. He is currently an artist in residence at Brighton College.
Braimah is currently studying with Barnabás Kelemen and Eszter Perenyi at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. He is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music where he was a scholarship student with Mateja Marinkovic and Jack Liebeck, winning the Harold Craxton Prize, the John McAslan Prize and the Dame Ruth Railton Chamber Music Prize.
Braimah currently performs on a Jean Baptiste Vuillaume, kindly lent to him by the Beare’s International Violin Society.
