We’re set to hear whether concerts will go ahead without restrictions, starting from Monday 19 July, later today.

In the meantime, there are plenty of incredible socially-distanced events planned over the coming week. Here are our recommendations…

Stompy's Playground String Ensemble return to the Jazz Cafe with a live immersive experience paying tribute to Studio Ghibli’s Joe Hisaishi

Friday 16 July, 1pm

Clifton Harrison presents a solo viola programme ranging from the Baroque to the latest contemporary pieces in the Bishopsgate Institute

Saturday 17 July, 6pm

Trio Klein perform their favourite pieces of music alongside Yulia Chaplina (piano) as part of Up Close and Musical, at the Fidelio Cafe

Gabriel Prokofiev performs his music, including a live performance with Shiry Rashkovsky, followed by a live classical remix DJ set

Internationally renowned guitarists Katalin Koltai and Hope Cramsie perform works for guitar by women at Kings Place
