What's on this week: classical music in London

There are now under three weeks until noisenight two takes place, where the Chineke! Duo will be performing music by Errollyn Wallen, Joseph Bologne, and more in a hidden cabaret bar in Hoxton.

There are a handful of tickets remaining across all ticket bands for that event - so you can still pick up tickets for just £8 here.

That concert isn’t until the end of the month: for now, here are the best live events taking place over the next few days…

Wednesday 11 August, 7pm

Pianist Gabriele Carcano presents an evening of Beethoven Sonatas in Clerkenwell’s cosy classical music home; the Fidelio Cafe

Friday 13 August, 7pm + 9pm

Jess Gillam performs for the first time at Bold Tendencies in Peckham, with her Ensemble playing a mix of brand new pieces and classics

Sunday 15 August, 6pm

Héloïse Werner explores the newest and most cutting edge contemporary vocal writing as part of Up Close and Musical

Sunday 15 August, 6.30pm

The London Symphony Orchestra showcase the next generation of music stars as their free annual summer concert returns to Trafalgar Square
